D.C.F.D. ENGINE HOUSE #8

Welcome to the home of Engine Company 8 and Battalion Fire Chief 2. We are located at 1520 C Street S.E. in the Lincoln Park section of the District of Columbia. Currently, the station houses the Engine Company, 2nd Battalion Fire Chief, and Air Unit 2. Prior to the construction of surounding houses, E8 was the District's busiest fire company and still remains at the top of the list for single Engine Houses in the city. E8 has consistantly maintained the highest ratio of Local and Box Alarms to Medical runs than any other house in the city. The members of Engine 8 serve with great pride and go hard to continue the tradition of this house to honor the men who served before us.
